Carithers Flowers provided the wedding flowers for Arenna and Justin’s wedding. The wedding reception was held at the Crown Plaza Hotel. The wedding venue is located at 4355 Ashford Dunwoody Rd, Atlanta, GA 30346. The hotel has an absolutely perfect events area that worked perfectly for the wedding reception. The hotel is conveniently located just off of I-285. It’s high profile footprint made it easy for guests to visually spot the venue as the made their way in for the wedding.
The wedding design team at Carithers provided the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid flowers, boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen, chapel flowers, reception flowers and flowers for the cake. The bridal bouquet used for this wedding was custom designed and hand tied. The floral theme chosen by the bride was white, with a slight hint of blue. The design utilized primarily white roses and white hydrangea. We mixed in some beautiful blue flowers into the bridesmaid bouquets which really helped to accentuate the colors in the bride and bridesmaid gowns.
The decorations for this wedding were really fun to put together. The size of the events area allowed us plenty of room to create the perfect floral theme for this special event. As you can see from the photos, we used quite a bit of full bloom white hydrangea in our designs. We made use of some tall, crystal pedestals that helped to elevate the flowers. That slight bit of elevation really made a difference in terms of the presentation and overall visual imagery the decor created. The cake flowers were made from white roses and expertly sprinkled onto the cake and celebration table.
